The Armenian Ideal
You can't get any better than this, can you? Ararat (too bad I couldn't fit the whole thing in there), golden fields of wheat, a shepherd, some cows and lambs. Right out of an Armenian fairy tale. He plays the duduk, too and he had a bunch of apricots in his pocket. This is the dream that many people want to believe, they must believe it, because their concept of what an ideal Armenia is depends on it. Very few want to deal with the truth. I really believe that most people in the Armenian diaspora simply don't want to know about what is indeed happening in this country, and the potential risks it faces. And I can't blame them. Enjoy your reverie.
